His dream of returning to the music industry is slowly becoming a reality as Nino Alejandro moves to the Knock Outs of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 after defeating Karl Tanhueco at the Battle Round for the Team of Lea Salonga. Singing the song We Built This City of Star Ship, Karl and Nino unleashed their rocker side as they gave all their best making Lea and the rest of the coaches with their performance.
Lea was very transparent in showing her appreciation with the performance of Karl and Nino. Which means she really enjoyed the performance of the two in the battle round. Here’s the video of Nino and Karl with the coaches’ feedback:
Coaches Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo and Apl.de.Ap unanimously said that Nino was the one who really nailed the song and gave his best in The Battle. In the end Lea agreed with them deciding to take him in the next round.
