Bamboo brings out the first two women in his team namely Rita Martinez at Suy Galvez in The Battle Round of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2. Singing the song Tainted Love, Suy and Rita belted out all the voices they can give in order to be in the KnockOut Round for Team Bamboo. But before their actual performance on The Battle, Suy is very vocal that she’s scared with Rita’s voice which she finds powerful and can sing any kind of song.
In their performance both did their best but coaches Lea Salonga, Apl de Ap and Sarah Geronimo said that Rita was great on The Battle. In the end Bamboo decided that Rita will be moving on the next round of the competition which is The KnockOut.
But Apl didn’t want to let Suy go in the competition that early because he believes in her talent that’s why the international RnB singer decided to use his power to steal to get her for his team. The Battle ended with Rita moving to KnockOut under Team Bamboo and Suy as part of Team Apl also going to the KnockOut round of The Voice of the Philippines Season 2.
