Youtube singer Alisah Bonaobra joins Apl.de.Ap’s team in The Voice of the Philippines Season 2

Aside from the first timers, former band members, contest joiners and singers who took break in their career, Youtube singers that became viral online also try their luck to fulfill their dream to be mainstream singers through The Voice of the Philippines Season 2. Alisah Bonaobra who’s video of her singing Patuloy ang Pangarap in a mall became viral in Youtube tried her luck in the blind audition in November 16 episode of The Voice. She’s a music major in a certain university but she needed to stop because there’s a problem in her scholarship and decided to help with her parents in selling cooked food in the street of Manila to provide their everyday needs. Alisah performed Domino during the blind audition.

Coaches Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga and Apl.de.Ap turned their chair for her. Lea said she doesn’t won’t missed the opportunity to get her because she remembered the last person who sang Domino was Darren Espanto during The Voice Kids which she regretted it. While Sarah tried to convince her that they can work together to reach her dream. And lastly, Apl used his charm by giving a crown to her asking her if she can be the queen in their team.

In the end the 19 year old contender decided to join Apl’s team.
