“Vice President Jejomar Binay is free to leave the Cabinet if he is unhappy with the administration’s decisions.” This was the statement of President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III pertaining to Vice President Jejomar Binay in the ambush interview made by the media after his speech during the inauguration of the Coca-cola FEMSA Philippines Canlubang Plant Expansion, Canlubang City, Laguna.

President Aquino shared that if VP Binay have criticisms on the decisions of the administration it should be more constructive with solutions. Unfortunately, PNoy shared that he have not heard these solutions in these Cabinet meetings and he hopes that VP Binay should be sharing this solutions. He reiterated that second highest official in the government and his obligation it to share solution that will benefit the country especially if he thinks that the government is doing something wrong.

In regards with the questionable wealth of VP Binay, President Aquino said that it was acquired before he was elected in his current position and he also confirmed that he’s contended with his performance as the head of Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council.

Meanwhile VP Binay said that he will continue his duty as member of the cabinet will be a good team player. He also said that high respect for the President. Which means VP Binay will not resign on his cabinet position nor with his VP position which his critics are calling out after the anomalies that drags him together with some members of his family.

The issue between PNoy and VP Binay started when the Vice President criticized the administration on the issues regarding the worsening traffic, current situation of the MRT, impending power crisis, high importation of rice and deterioration of peace and order in the country. His statement was made last October 23 at the Philippine Business Conference.

With the brewing conflict between PNoy and VP Binay how will the administration which both of them are part of it will take the nation on a straight path on the last two years of their leadership. And with VP Binay’s possibility to run as president on 2016 how will this affect him especially that PNoy’s recommendation can be an advantage to him in the future.
