Around 11:30 pm the son of the veteran comedienne Tia Pusit, Christian, announced that her mother passed away at the age of 66 years old. Tia Pusit or Myrna Villanueva just had a double bypass surgery last September 9 after being diagnosed with aortic aneurysm at kidney failure last August. The comedienne should be having her operations earlier but was not permitted because of some complications she encountered.
That’s why during those times her sister Nove Villa asked everyone for prayers so that they can overcome it. After Tia Pusit’s operation in the Philippine Heart Center where she she stayed to recover, her son confirmed that her mother was ok now until the comedienne ended her battle. There several concert for cause and prayer activities to support Tia Pusit’s payment in the hostpital and also guidance from God for her recover.
As this article being written there are no announcement where will the remains will be taken for public viewing for family, friends and fans can give their last repects to the person who brought them a good laught in her shows and movies. Tia Pusit appeared in various shows and her last few shows was Ikaw Lamang in ABS-CBN.
