On October 19, the much awaited season 40 of the Philippine Basketball Association will take place at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan. The opening ceremony happened at 1:30PM and immediately the first game will happen at 3PM with the Kia Sorento versus Blackwater Elite. And the second game that will happen on 5:15PM with Talk n Text Tropang Texters versus Barangay Ginebra San Miguel.
This will be the kick off game of the Kia Sorento where we will see the playing coach Manny Pacquaio where it will be the first time of his supporters will see him on the actual game outside the boxing ring.
Completing the 12-team league that will fight for the season title are Alaska Aces, Barako Bull Energy, GlobalPort Batang Pier, Meralco Bolts, NLEX Road Warriors, Purefoods Star Hotshots, Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and San Miguel Beermen.
On Tuesday at the SMART Araneta Coliseum, it wil be Globalport-NLEX tussle at 4:15 PM and followed by Rain or Shine and San Miguel Beer face-off at 7 PM. And the following game on the same venue it will be Meralco Bolts and the Barako Bull Energy play at 4:15 PM and followed by the Purefoods Star Hotshots versus Alaska Milk Aces at 7 PM.
