Just when we thought that we had enough with the Chapter 2 last 2013, Insidious returns to the big screen on May 2015 for another horror story that will ensure another sleepless nights after watching it. Unlike the first two movies, the Insidious: Chapter 3 will take us on when it all stated before the Lambert family tasted the terror in the house they used to call home. It will be the chilling prequel revealing us how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
The newest chapter marks the directorial debut of Leigh Whannell after being the screenplay of the first two chapters of Insidious. And last October 24 they officially released the first teaser trailer of Insidious: Chapter 3 in like with the celebration of Halloween week. Watch the video below:
The Insidious film series reminds us of its resemblance to the 1982 classic Poltergeist where it centers in a family where they ghost sees their children to be the vessel to bring terror in the house. With the Insidious: Chapter 3 as a prequel the challenge here is how the film takes us to the life of Elise on how her gift evolved which we saw it on in the first two films.
