#WalangPasok Update: Schools with no classes on Sept 15 due to Typhoon Luis

Due to the strong winds and heavy rains caused by Typhoon Luis that’s currently affecting the Central and Nothern Luzon, local government units (LGUs), Department of Education (DepEd) and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) decided on the suspension of classes on areas badly affected by the typhoon. They issued the list of areas where they are suspending classes on September 15 (Monday).

In the National Capital Region (NCR) they suspended classes in  all levels in areas including Manila, Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon City, San Juan, Taguig, Valenzuela, Pateros. While in Calabarzon where provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon are included they also suspended classes in all levels.

Meanwhile they also suspended classes in all levels in thr province of Aurora, Bataan, Benguet, Bulacan, Bataan, Calamian Group of Islands, Ilocos Sur, San Fernando, La Union, Mindoro provinces, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales. For the province of Ilocos Norte and San Carlos, Pangasinan classes from pre-school to high school were only suspended.
