In connection with the arrest last September 7 due to malicious mischief case filed against singer and TV host Billy Crawford after allegedly hitting a desk officer and breaking the glass door of the precinct in Taguig City, Crawford earlier today (September 16) with his lawyers; attorneys Lucas Carpio Jr and Jose Aspiras pleads not guilty at the Taguig Municipal Trial Court. According the the Crawford’s lawyer the cases filed against him lack basis.
According to them Billy Crawford did not do anything to anyone and it was unintentional destroy the property or the 4 panels of the doors that are alleged to have been destroyed by him. Because no less than the photographs appended to the complaint indicate that there is only one panel which got destroyed contrary to the allegations in the complaint that 4 were destroyed. This was the explanation of Carpio. With the lacking of evidence such as eyewitness or photos Carpion said that his client is not guilty on the said cases.
Meanwhile, report also said that Crawford is being asked to pay Php 31, 000 in damages arising from the case.
Crawford returned to his afternoon variety show It’s Showtime last September 15 after 1 week of hiatus and thanking his supporters especially his girlfriend Coleen Garcia.
