In 2012, there was a student named Paula Jamie Salvosa that became popular because of the term Amalayer Girl after arguing with a lady guard in LRT. This was started when allegedly Salvosa didn’t put her bag in conveyor of the X-ray machine for security check at the Santolan station. From there the heated argument started where, Salvosa started shouting at the lady guard and the scene was captured on video and uploaded online where Amalayer Girl became an instant celebrity who faced criticism because of what she did.

After two years, Salvosa is back but not an Amalayer girl but a preacher. The controversy gave a big impact in her life and the only thing she can do is to hold on to God for refuge. She’s now a preacher and now talking about the word of the Lord. According to her, the challenge that she faced during the amalayer controversy it strengthen her relationship with God which she accepts her mistake and seek for forgiveness. Now she used the incident in discussing how to ask for forgiveness and accepting that they are wrong.
