Last July 16 in the primetime episode of Pinoy Big Brother All In (PBB All In), they gave a teaser from the confirmation of Fifth Pagotan about his sexual orientation where as it was triggered by the news from the social media brought by John Prats and Robi Domingo during their short stay in Kuya’s house. The teaser shows that Fifth talking to Big Brother and confirming that he is an open minded person which means if he love someone he will not look on the looks, status in life and even sexuality.
In the July 17 episode, PBB All In aired the continuation of the conversation and the uncut was posted in www.pinoybigbrother.com. In the conversation Fifth shared that he wanted to confront the news by addressing it and by doing that it will never used against him. He said that it was only his family from his mother and siblings in the side of his mom knows about it and also close friends. He was worried at first it might affect his career as a commercial model and his future plans to be an artist because of that openness. He later confirmed to Big Brother that he is bisexual.
Aside from the career, Fifth’s hesitation to reveal himself is how his friends will react to it and how it will affect their relationship with them including his brother Fourth. He said that it was hard for him to be compared with him because people said the Fourth was manly while he is very soft. But later her realize that with his decision he will see how people close to him will remain true and supportive no matter what happen.
Meanwhile, Big Brother said that all he is thinking now are assumptions which he should try it first before thinking ahead. It might be hard for him to reveal himself at first eventually he will discover who are those who will stay beside him and think beyond his sexual orientation. Aside from that Big Brother is very thankful for opening his life to him and promises Fifth that if he needs someone to talk to he is open to listen and talk to him.
In the social media, netizens showed their support to Fifth since Wednesday along with celebrities who are watching the show especially Vice Ganda who is amazed with his bravery. With Fifth’s revelation how will it affect on his votes now that he is a nominated housemate along with his brother Fourth. It will surely exciting to see Fifth’s journey inside the house especially now that we are seeing where he is coming in terms of attitude and personality inside the PBB All In house.
