Rowling, and TV hosts Oprah Winfrey and Jimmy Kimmel, and what’s surprising is that aside from the Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and A.R.Rahman is the only Filipina to join the list and even ranks on the number 29 and that is the actress, TV host and brand endorser Anne Curtis. With the grade of 6.2 and with followers of 6,667,346 and counting, Anne is included in the 50 Smartest Celebrities on Twitter of Time.

The said ranking was based from the methodology of Simple Measure of Gobbledygook (SMOG). The SMOG test measures the number of three syllable words used in a text to calculate the years of education required to understand it. For example the actor DiCaprio who is an environmental activist often tweets about “conservation” and global warming which may have helped him earn the top spot. Base from the studies the message on Twitter (base from 1 million tweets) has an average of fourth-grade reading level and the celebrities listed above exceeded that grade.
