After her successful concert at the Meralco Theather last February 22 entitled Miss Rachelle The Send-Off Concert, Rachelle Ann Go now push through in her journey as part of the cast of the West End production of Miss Saigon. Rachelle Ann will be playing the role of Gigi one of the workers in a bar in Saigon where it was originally played by veteran stage actress Isay Alvarez.
During the press conference of her concert, Rachelle Ann Go that she is very excited with this opportunity to perform a role in her dream play Miss Saigon. This will be her 3rd on stage character after portraying the role Ariel in Disney’s Little Mermaid and Jane in the musical Tarzan both produced by Atlantis Productions here in the Philippines. Rachelle Ann left early in the morning of March 6 to go to London and will start their rehearsal together with fellow Filipino actors Eva Noblezada who will be doing Kim and Jonjon Briones as the Engineer.
The presentation will start on May 2014 and will run for several months. With the length of her stay in London, Rachelle Ann thought of joining different classes to make herself busy at the same time learn more while in London. Meanwhile, other cast members of Miss Saigon 2014 are Alistair Brammer as Chris, Hugh Maynard as John, and Tamsin Carroll as Ellen.
