Last February 8, the King of Primetime Drama Coco Martin and Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo has their story conference in the office of Star Cinema for their first ever movie together. Because Sarah is part of the team, Viva Films will surely be there to co-produce the said movie and show their support to their prime artist in the Kapamilya network. There’s no confirmation yet on what will be the story, title or the exact date when will the shooting start and the premiere on the big screen. But one this is for sure Ruffa Guttierez will be one of the artists who will be joining on their first big screen tandem on film.
But this is now the first time for Coco Martin and Sarah Geronimo to be co-workers after their musical drama entitled iDol (1Dol) in 2010 where they had Sam Milby as their co-actor. The series showcased the sing singing prowess of Sarah, Sam and even Coco.
Before the Coco-Sarah tandem in the big screen, Coco became the King of Philippine Independent Films where as he earned awards and recognitions because of his excellent portrayal in various indie films including Tambolista, Sta. Nina, Noy, Kinatay, and Jay, He also gained the title King of Primetime Drama for the successful teleseryes in ABS-CBN that portrayed the lead roles including Walang Hanggan and Juan dela Cruz.
Meanwhile, Sarah is known for her box-office success from her sold our albums, concerts and even blockbuster films including A Very Special Love, You Changed My Life and It Takes A Man And A Woman where she became the love team of John Lloyd Cruz in all three movies.
