It was a great fight for Ariella Arida, representative of the Philippines in the recent concluded Miss Universe 2013 held in Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia. Following her predecessors in the said beauty pageant, Ariella bagged 3rd place in the competition. Meanwhile, Ms. Venezuela, Gariela Isler a 25-year-old television presenter won the Miss Universe 2013 title.
Completing the set of runner ups for this year’s competition are Latina beauties including Brazil’s Jakelyne Oliveira was 4th runner-up, Ecuador’s Constanza Baez 2nd runner-up, and Spain’s Patricia Yurena Rodriguez was 1st runner-up.
In the question and answer, Ariella answered the question on the issue of unemployment and lacking jobs in the Philippines by the importance of education which she believes that it is the ticket for better future. Her answer receives possitive feedbacks not only from the live audience in the venue but also from the netizens watching the show.
Lastly as the competition ended Thomas Roberts, who with ex-Spice Girl Melanie Brown, dedicated the show to the people suffering from the wrath of typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines.
