Aside from the announcement of Angel Locsin to reprise the role of Darna in the big screen, Star Cinema through its managing director Malou Santos also shared to the Manila Bulletin that they will be doing the remake of the 1996 sci-fi adventure film Magic Temple. The film was directed by Peque Gallaga, Erik Matti and Lore Reyes that stars Jason Salcedo, Junell Hernando, Marc Solis and Anna Larruce. Meanwhile, the remake will star the phenomenal tandem of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo or simply known as the KathNiel love team.
With the partnership with Reality Entertainment which Santos highlighted on the confirmation of Angel to be the Darna in terms of visual effects, she mentioned that there will be new effects that viewers will really enjoy aside from the beautiful story of Magic Temple. According to her they already have the draft of the scripts and might be doing a franchise of it create 5 stories continuously where will really extend the story and characters.
Up to date, same with Darna there’s no confirmation yet on when the production will start along with the showing date. Also there’s no names of other artists who will be joining Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo in the remake of Magic Temple.
