After her successful portrayal in Maalaala Mo Kaya last Saturday (September 12) with Paulo Avelino as a patient with tuberculosis, Angel Locsin officially announced early this afternoon in The Buzz that her latest taleserye with ABS-CBN will be airing before 2013 ends. Her last primetime project with ABS-CBN was Imortal where she played the role of Lia Ortega-Rodriguez in 2010 and the sequel of Lobo in 2008.
According to Angel, she’s not the kind of person who follows up the management of what will be her next project because she wanted that the project being offered with her was crafted perfectly and she knows that she can do it. And luckily, she got the roles that she can really portray and she enjoyed doing it. Aside from Lia in Imortal, she played the role of Lyka in Lobo and Jillian in Only You.
Also Angel is a mainstay in the hit sitcom of ABS-CBN every Saturday night entitled TodaMax with Vhong Navarro and Ai Ai delas Alas. She also a semi-hosting stint in It’s Showtime which both shows develop her hosting and comic side while waiting for a drama project with the Kapamilya Network.
Aside from the teleserye project, Angel Locsin will be reprising the role of Darna and this time it will be on the big screen under Star Cinema. Her other remarkable movie projects with Star Cinema include One More Try where she won best actress award on FAMAS, Film Academy of the Philippines Award and Star Awards for Movies.
