Another tough decision for coach Apl de Ap and the audience of The Voice of the Philippines during the semi-finals last night at the Newport Performance Arts Theater (NPAT) in Resorts World Manila when Thor Dulay and Janice Javier belted their way to the final spot. Thor performed the song Climb Every Mountain while Janice did Imagine. Apl decided that he will be giving the 55 points to Janice and leaving Thor with only 45 poiints.
Both Thor and Janice were Apl’s strong contender that’s why it was hard for him to split the score and side to one of them. But with the combined scores of text and online votes it was Janice who will be representing Team Apl on the grand finals of The Voice of the Philippines that will happen on September 28 and 29.
Joining Janice in the grand finals are Myke Perez from the team of Bamboo, Mitoy Yonting from the team of Lea Salonga and Klarisse de Guzman from the team of Sarah Geronimo. The Voice of the Philippines is hosted by Toni Gonzaga with V Reporters Robi Domingo and Alex Gonzaga.
