Two divas in the making fought for their last breath last night for the final slot in the semi-finals of The Voice of the Philippines. Coming from team of Sarah Geronimo, Morissette Amon and Klarisse de Guzman showcased their vocal flexibility in order to be in the final slot in the grand finals that will happen on September 28 and 29. The look-a-like of Sarah, Morissette performed Who You Are while Sarah’s former contender in the talent show where she was discovered performed To Love Somebody.
Sarah shocked the audience after giving Morissette with 45 while Klarisse with 55. With 10 points edge, Klarisse secured the final spot with the final score of 118.39 where as her combined text and online votes are 63.39. Meanwhile, Morissette’s final score was 81.61 where her combined text and online votes are 36.61.
Joining Klarisse in the grand finals are Myke Perez from the team of Bamboo, Mitoy Yonting from the team of Lea Salonga and Janice Javier from the team of Apl de Ap. The Voice of the Philippines is hosted by Toni Gonzaga with V Reporters Robi Domingo and Alex Gonzaga.
