From the breathtaking blind auditions to the intense showdowns at the battles, The Voice of the Philippines is now on the third stage of the competition which is the Live Shows. Every Sunday live at the Newport Performance Arts Theater (NPAT) in Resorts World Manila (RWM) contenders from each team; Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Apl de Ap and Bamboo will be facing each other to prove their worth to be the first champion of The Voice of the Philippines.
The power selecting who will be staying in the competition now shifted from the coaches to the viewers of the hit reality show of ABS-CBN. There will be two ways to vote to their favorite contender. For text voting just key in VOICE (space) name of the artist and send to 231 for SMART and Talk N Text and 2331 for Sun, Globe and Touch Mobile, each vote cost Php2.50. There’s a cap of 30 votes per artist per SIM.
For online voting, viewers can visit vote.abs-cbn.com where they just need to click on The Voice of the Philippines and they can cast their votes by using e-Pins and vote cards. Vote cards are available in SM Department Stores and Mini Stop branches nationwide. Here’s the video of the voting mechanics:
The casting of votes can be done during the Live Shows of The Voice of the Philippines and before the show ended the voting will be closed and the highest number of votes will be saved and lowest will be immediately eliminated in the show.
