As ABS-CBN dominated the Yahoo! OMG Awards Night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last July 19, whereas Kathryn Bernardo and Enrique Gil were awarded as the Yahoo! OMG Breakthrough Actress and Actor of the Year respectively together with Vice Ganda and Eugene Domingo as Yahoo! OMG Breakthrough Comedian and Comedienne of the Year and Coco Martin as the Yahoo! OMG Actor of the Year, Kim Chui and Xian Lim or known as the love team KimXi was awarded as the Yahoo! OMG Love Team of the Year. Kim Chui and Xian Lim had shown their chemistry on cam from My Binondo Girl to Ina Kapatid Anak. This time they will be doing their first ever movie team up in Star Cinema’s Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo.
Showing in all cinemas nationwide beginning July 31, Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo brings the popular love team of Kim Chui and Xian Lim that was proven by the votes casted in the Yahoo! OMG Awards on a different approach opposite on what we see on TV. They will be playing Sandy Veloso and Alex Prieto in the comedy film based from the book of Ramon Bautista and will be directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal. The comedy film follows the transformation of the brokenhearted Sandy that was almost got fired in their company after hitting her new boss Alex thinking it was her ex-boyfriend. Being the asset of their company, Alex will do anything in order to bring back Sandy’s sanity and confidence that she will return to work that will help Alex on his personal plan.
Having the main theme of love, self confidence and dreams, everyone will surely relate themselves to the characters of Sandy and Alex played by Kim and Xian. The movie will also showcase the talent of the two actors doing a comic roles which we never saw in their TV program especially with Kim who will be comical inside and outside in this movie. Surely the film will affirm why Kim Chui and Xian Lim are rightful to be the winners of the Yahoo! OMG Love Team of the Year.
