Since AXE Apollo Space Academy (A.A.S.A) was launched in May 15, AXE Philippines Facebook Page garnered more than 28, 000 applicants and more than 600, 000 site visits they already revealed that there were 4,485 top-voted candidates who will be moving to the next level. The AXE Philippines headed by the Brand Manager Gem Laforteza together with A.A.S.A. National Selections Directors Ramon Bautista, Luis Manzano, Sam Gogna, and Gino Quillamor they will be screening the aspiring Filipino Astronauts until they come up with 400 names that will join the rest of the candidates who will undergo mental, emotional and physical challenges.
From 400, they will come up with remaining 50 who will advance the third challenge who will undergo tough physical challenges until the two people will be declared as the country’s representatives to the international AXE Apollo Space Camp in the U.S. But because of the overwhelming support from the Philippines, AXE announced that they will be having the wild card which they called the AXE Apollo Hyperdrive to Space Promo which will give a lucky gold ticket to a lucky guy or girl via a raffle draw and become the third Filipino to be on space.
The AXE Apollo Hyperdrive to Space Promo is open to everyone aged 18 years old and above can join the promo by purchasing any Axe Apollo Body Spray product. Each purchase receipt will be considered as one raffle entry for a chance at a trip to space. To join the raffle, one must text AXE (name of store) / (last three digits of the official receipt) and send it to 2600. Only one winner will be declared as the third representative to space camp, but each raffle entry also gives you a chance at winning a Samsung Galaxy Smartphone as a consolation prize.
