I am a huge fan of The Apprentice and seeing how marketing specialists collide under the hand of real estate magnate and businessman Donald Trump really gives me that excitement seeing them who already has the position and experience need to go down dirty in order to win the challenges. And with the brilliant mind of Fremantlemedia Asia they will be bringing the show in Asia now with the aviation tycoon and Forbes Asia’s 2010 Asia Businessman of the Year, Tony Fernandes together with the 12 aspiring candidates who are hoping to work in one of enterprises that Fernandes own.

Set in Singapore and Malaysia, The Apprentice Asia will be airing exclusively on AXN starting May 22 at 09:05PM. Joining the show as the advisors of Fernandes are Tune Hotels’ Group CEO, Mark Lankester and Expedia Asia’s CEO, Kathleen Tan. Lankester was awarded as the Outstanding Entrepreneurship Awards 2012 at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards where he led the growth of Tunes Hotel up to 27 properties in the region. Meanwhile, Tan was the person behind the success of Air Asia during its kick off launch in China and also awarded as the Marketer of the Year at the Web In Travel     Annual Conference 2012.

Joining the 12 candidates of The Apprentice Asia are Alexis Lothar Bauduin a French Trade Development Manager in China, Andrea Loh a Lawyer in Singapore, Nazril Idrus a Malaysian Financial Coach, Hendy Setiono a CEO in an Indonesia Company, Ningku Lachungpa an infrastructure owner, Celina Le Neindre a Food & Beverage Consultant in the Philippines, Dussadee Oeawpanich a Bistro owner in Thailand, Samuel Rufus Nallaraj one of the Big Four professional services firms owner, Ng Kian Tat a business owner in Malaysia, Nik Aisyah Amirah Binti Mansor an auditor in one of the big companies in Malaysia, Dian Krishna Mukti a Mass Communication graduate turned housewife in Indonesia, and Jonathan Allen Yabut a senior product manager in the Philippines.

Catch how conflict and drama unfolds as business owners, financial coaches, lawyers, and marketing specialists will self destruct on TV just to out-power their opponent in order to get their dream job and that is to be in one of the companies of Tony Fernandes. Catch all the 12 candidates prove themselves in every challenges and board meetings and say goodbye one by one until the last candidate will emerge victorious in this ultimate job interview in Asia – The Apprentice Asia. Airing starting on May 22 at 9:05PM exclusively on AXN.
