It has been more than 3 weeks since the feud within the Baretto family particularly Gretchen against her sister Claudine and her mother on the issue of being a prodigal daughter and dragging Julia the daughter of Marjorie in the issue. Within more than three weeks Gretchen Baretto remained quiet regarding the issue whereas her mother Inday bashes her and took her side with Claudine. Inday defended Claudine on the issue that Gretchen mentioned that her sister tries to stop Julia (Marjorie’s daughter) career in ABS-CBN. She also mentioned the verbal abuse that Claudine’s family received from Gretchen and the experience of being outside the rain during the typhoon in order to save herself from the objects that Gretchen was throwing at her that time.

With the statement of letting go of Gretchen in order to save Claudine struck everyone and thinking that Inday, the matriarch of the Barettos is ending her role being a mother to Gretchen. Meanwhile, during The Buzz (May 5 episode) Boy Abunda gives chance to Gretchen to say her piece on the issue so that viewers will know her side. Gretchen in tears mentioned that it was very painful for her but still she remained quiet on the issue. She even mentioned that the problem that their family is encountering right now should be discussed within the family alone and should be publicized.
