After the reveal of Andrea Brillantes as the new Annaliza after the late Julie Vega and several teaser photos of the much-awaited teleserye that promises hope, drama and values, Zanjoe Marudo will be playing the role of Guido in the story. Joining Zanjoe and Andrea in the TV series are Patrick Garcia, Denise Laurel, Kaye Abad and Carlo Aquino.
Previously played by Renato del Prado in the 80s version, Zanjoe will be giving the character of Guido a new taste that will take the character as major role and will be part of the molding the character of Annaliza that Andrea will be playing. As Guido he will be playing the adopted father of Annaliza who will be taking challenges of an instant father who has a dark past what will be revealed in the story once it finally airs on ABS-CBN.
This will be the second time that Zanjoe will be doing a father role on TV but not as serious as Annaliza. The first one was with Super Inggo in 2006 where he played Super Islaw the father of Inggo played by Makisig Morales. His previous role as a father to kid superhero is not that big in terms of the story but in Annaliza it will contribute that much in the story and might be one of the turning points in the story.
