During the thanksgiving party of It Takes A Man and A Woman last night at the 14th floor of the Eugenio Lopez Jr. Commercial Center (ELJCC) in ABS-CBN, Star Cinema announces that the third installment of the Laida Magtalas and Miggy Montenegro now earns Php 375 million and it is on its way to the Php 400 M on in its third week on cinemas. It Takes A Man and A Woman stars the box-office tandem of John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.
Also present at the It Takes A Man and A Woman thanksgiving party is Isabel Daza, Joross Gamboa, Gio Alvarez, Rowell Santiago, Bing Pimentel, Andrei Garcia and Johnny Revilla together with the big bosses of Star Cinema and ABS-CBN including President and CEO of ABS-CBN Corporation Charo Santos-Concio, Channel Head for ABS-CBN Cory Vidanes, and Star Cinema Managing Director Malou Santos.
The film continues the love story of Laida and Miggy after more than four years of separation that lead to heart breaks and transformation in each others’ lives. Needed to work together in order to save FlipPage, they must learn to understand and rediscover one another in order to work efficiently and later they will know where it all begins the pain and separation.
It Takes A Man and A Woman is still showing in all theaters nationwide with international screening on selected areas under Star Cinema and Viva Films. The romantic comedy film was tagged as the most successful rom-com series in the Philippine Movie Industry.
