Film actor and politician Lito Lapid will be doing his first ever TV series entitled Little Champ and it will be on ABS-CBN. He will be playing the role of Amang Leon (Leon del Torro), a grumpy yet kind-hearted baranggay chairman which he will be guardian to the child named Caloy (JB Agustin). Lito Lapid is known with the moniker Leon Guerrero which it will surely capture his supporters where he will be using the name Leon on this fantaserye show of the Kapamilya network that will premiere on March 18 on Primetime Bida after Kahit Konting Pagtingin at 6pm.
Little Champ follows the journey of Caloy together with Amang Leon and his talking horse named Chalk (voice of Makisig Morales) that mistakenly ate a powerful object that came from the sky and transformed him to a more healthy and powerful horse. Together they must protect themselves from Miguel (Jake Roxas) who wanted to destroy Caloy after blaming him for the death of his son. Also Caloy and Chalk aims to search for Lucas (Jhong Hillario) and Helen (Precious Lara Quigaman), Caloy’s parents where he was separated from them after the accident.
The latest fantaserye of ABS-CBN also stars Jolo Revilla, Renz Fernandez, Sofia Millares, Coleen Garcia, Mickey Ferriols, Paulo Serrano, Katya Santos, Ruben Gonzaga, and Pen Medina.
