Rico who balances his passion for music and acting as one of the lead actors of ABS-CBN afternoon teleserye May Isang Pangarap, he offers a new image and style of music with a festive approach that his followers will surely love.
Coming from a family that grew in the thundering beats of Ati-Atihan, Rico Blanco uses this kind of music and mix it with contemporary pop and modern sounds that will surely offer a new taste of music that will contribute to OPM which is tribal punk. Before Galactik FiestaMatik, Rico already releases Your Universe album in 2008 that introduces two hit songs like Yugto and the sweet title track Your Universe.
With a new look and image as Fiesto in his album, the Galactik FiestaMatik has 9-tracks including Amats, Burado, Lipat Bahay, When The Wheels Turn, Sayaw, Hours and Days, Chismis, What It Is? and Ngayon. All songs were written and composed by Rico Blanco and distributed by Warner Music Philippines. He will be using melodica, lyre, gigantic cowbell, violin, and tribal drums.
