The much-awaited prestigious 85th Academy Awards ceremony or popularly known as Oscars has already named their winners. Live from the Dolby Theatre in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles, California and hosted by Seth MacFarlane, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) honors the best films of 2012. Oscars also includes the directors, actors, script writers, visual effects and both production, creative and technical team.
Movies included in the nominees for this year’s Oscars are Amour, Argo, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Django Unchained, Les Misérables, Life of Pi, Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, and Zero Dark Thirty. Meanwhile actors and actress nominated include Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Emmanuelle Riva, Quvenzhané Wallis, Naomi Watts, Bradley Cooper, Daniel Day-Lewis, Hugh Jackman, Joaquin Phoenix, and Denzel Washington.
