Airing on ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida on February 11 after on Ina Kapatid Anak, Apoy Sa Dagat marks the reunion of Diether Ocampo and Angelica Panganiban after working together in teleseryes including Rounin, Iisa Pa Lamang and Rubi. Joining them in Apoy Sa Dagat are Piolo Pascual, Angel Aquino, Freddie Webb, Pearla Bautista, Sylvia Sanchez, Melai Cantiveros, Bryan Santos, Aiko Melendez, Eric Fructuoso and Liza Llorena under the direction of FM Reyes and Nick Olanka.
Unlike in Rounin where their characters don’t have emotional relationship between the two of them, in Rubi and Iisa Pa Lamang Angelica’s character enjoys playing with the emotions of the character played by Diether. Meanwhile, in Apoy sa Dagat Diet will be playing the role of Anton, the rich businessman who is the younger brother of Adrianna (Angel) who will be the reason the pain and struggles of the characters played by Angelica – Serena and Rebecca. Anton will serve as the savior of Serena after being almost raped by a person who has mistaken her with another person. But how will Serena react if everything will finally revealed to her about the past she almost forget after the accident that the person who saved him was the brother of the woman who was the reason of the tragedy that separated her from her family.
