ABS-CBN officially confirms that Dawn Zulueta will be replacing the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano in the teleserye Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin. It was more than a week since the Kapamilya Network pulled out Maricel in the teleserye due to misunderstanding between Gerald Anderson. The said decision was made by the network on the day itself after the unfortunate incident and issued a statement that the TV station will still push through with the Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin.
Few days after, the name of Dawn Zulueta who is also a veteran actress that made a comeback in the phenomenal teleserye Walang Hanggan with Richard Gomez, Coco Martin, Julia Montes and Paulo Avelino was possible replacement for Maricel in the show. Meanwhile, in her The Buzz interview last Sunday, (January 27) she said that Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin is a good material and she like it which there’s a possibility that she will be getting it.
And now, ABS-CBN announces that Dawn Zulueta will be replacing Maricel in the teleserye and will start her taping with the Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin cast very soon. Aside from Gerald, Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin includes Diana Zubiri, Dina Bonnevie, Tonton Gutierrez, Rayver Cruz and Cristine Reyes. As for Maricel Soriano, ABS-CBN confirmed in The Buzz that the incident will not affect her future projects with the TV Network that includes a movie with Vice Ganda and Eugene Domingo. Meanwhile, the Diamond Star will undergo anger management and rest for the meantime which the death of her mother might be one of the contributors of her current situation.
