With everyone going westernized, Sentro 1771 located at Serendra in The Fort just beside Market Market and across Bonifacio High Street in Tagiug offers modern Filipno cuisine closer to home.  For those working near the area of just having a morning bonding with family and friends over the weekend can enjoy breakfast at Sentro 1771 that is true blue Filipino including tapa, catfish adobo flakes, longanisa, fried daing na bangus, and more that comes with garlic rice, atchara (pickled papaya) and unlimited chocolate or coffee to start the day right.

All breakfast meal ranges from Php 300-Php 380 and available every day until 10am only. Among the breakfast dishes that Sentro 1771 offers the catfish adobo flakes is my personal favorite. It’s very rare in most of the restaurants here in Metro Manila to serve catfish in their menu and the way the comforting crunchiness that compliments with the atchara but of course I hope it was unripe mangoes to go with it. But of course unripe mangoes are not good in the morning for others and atchara is a good option for it.

There’s also the all time favorite boneless daing na bangus that’s good for two persons just order another serving of rice and coffee or hot native chocolate of course and enjoy it with your special someone or a close friend. It crispy friend but tender inside that is not that tangy or sour which most of us Filipinos enjoyed either for breakfast or any time of the day.

But of course aside from the delicious breakfast or any meal at Sentro 1771 it should be ended with a dessert. They have a variety of sweets both reinvented Filipino pastries while others making it visually appealing to the diners aside from the delicious taste.

For reinvented Filipino desserts there’s the Maja Blanca crepes; having the creamy maja blancas wrapped and topped with corns and chocolate syrup. There’s also the suman topped with ripe mangoes and chocolate syrup that is very comforting after having a heavy meal. Lastly, my favorite Keso Flan, a cheesecake textured leche flan served with a slice of keso de bola and salted egg that the salty and sweetness compliments in your mouth.

Fried Suman and Manggoes – Php 180

Keso Plan – Php 220

Meanwhile, for coffee lovers, Sentro 1771 is offering coffee made desserts with a style. The first one is the Coffee Bean Sans Rival that’s very crunchy and good with a cup of coffee. The second one is the Coffee Pie that will really kick you up with caffeine as you enjoy that crunchy coffee beans inside it the same with the Coffee Bean Sans Rival. The coffee ingredient used in the desserts are 100% Filipino made.
