From the phenomenal Pinoy Big Brother which followed by Pinoy Dream Academy, Junior Master Chef Pinoy Edition, Master Chef Pinoy Edition, Pilipinas Got Talent, and X-Factor Philippines, ABS-CBN brings another groundbreaking international franchise in the Philippines entitled The Voice. The reality singing competition that became popular in the USA which features Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera as the judge-coaches of the contestants and by Carson Daly is under the concept of Endemol.
The Voice has already done in 40 countries with their own version and having musical icons as the judge-coaches in their respective countries. This reality show became popular because of the blind audition concept where all the judge-coaches will just listen to the voice of the contestants during the audition and if ever the wanted to include it to their team the judge-coach must press the button in their swiveling chair within ninety seconds audition period.
Having more than two coach-judges who push the button, the contestant will select which team he or she will be joining. After the blind audition it will be followed by battle phase which will dictate on the final list of contestants that will move on to the live performance shows. Up to date there are no details yet on who will be the judge-coaches for The Voice Philippines but in terms of the host, Toni Gonzaga is one of the names that might be a possible option.
