Ayala Mall Cinemas will be showing the romantic comedy film Seeking a Friend for the End of the World exclusively beginning November 7 in their cinemas namely Glorietta 4, Greenbelt3 and Trinoma. The film stars Steve Carell and Keira Knightley and directed by Lorene Scafaria.
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World follows story of Dodge Petersen (Carell), an insurance agent trying to work on a normal life after receiving the news that a seventy-mile-wide asteroid named Matilda will wipe the humanity after it will have its impact within three weeks. Without any word, his wife left him the same way as sanity left everyone waiting for doomsday to happen.
Still struggling for a normal life, Dodge went on a party where she met Penny (Knightly) crying on a fire escape after breaking up with his fiancé named Owen (Adam Brody). Having the same heart problem which is separation, Dodge and Penny confide to each other and fell in love.
