Singer, songwriter, actor and one of the main host of ABS-CBN’s top rating musical variety show ASAP 2012, Martin Nievera is now celebrating his 30 years in the entertainment industry. In line with this milestone in his career, Martin together with his label company PolyEast Records releases Martin Nievera 3D: Tatlong Dekada album to celebrate his 30 years as a singer and songwriter that made the Be My Lady as one of the most favorite love songs of OPM. The also started the rise of Martin’s career that made him owns the title Concert King.
Martin Nievera 3D: Tatlong Dekada contains signature songs of Martin, 15 original songs that his supporters will be hearing for very first time and exclusively in this album and lastly three classic remakes. One of the songs that is already featured in different radio stations nationwide is Ipadarama that was written by award-winning composer Kiko Salazar. Martin also collaborates with notable songwriters and producers of OPM which includes Marvin Querido, Joey Benin, Jungee Marcelo, Ogie Alcasid, and Arnie Mendaros to make his album possible.
The three classic remakes included in his album are Pangako, an Ogie Alcasid original which became one of the songs presented in the top-rating teleserye of ABS-CBN entitled Walang Hanggan; there’s also Paul Anka’s Times of Your Life which his version was used as the official theme song of ABS-CBN’s Lorenzo’s Time and lastly, the third song was a collaboration with Vina Morales for the teleserye A Beautiful Affair entitled After All that popularized by Peter Cetera in the 80s.
Up to date, Martin already releases more than 26 albums which are all top selling aside from that he appeared in the talent reality search of ABS-CBN entitled The X-Factor Philippines which he became one of the mentor/judges.
