Allan Pineda Lindo, Jr. or popularly known as Apl.de.Ap and member of the Grammy Award-winning group The Black Eyed Peas continues giving that Filipino pride by showcasing Pinoy talent in the international scene. He also included Asin’s Balita in The Apl Song in the Black Eyed Peas’ 2003 album Elephunk. He is also part of the “I am for Peace” campaign of the Philippine government and continuously supporting Philippine tourism.
Meanwhile, Jessica Sanchez who is one of the most popular contender in the history of the American Idol show and a runner up in Season 11 continuously getting the ideas and embracing her Filipino roots after she visited the country for a concert tour and some endorsement like Bench and Jollibee.
