Few weeks after the unveiling of the first ever 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) service in the Philippines, Smart Communications, Inc. the leader of wireless service in the country the announces that the SMART LTE up with 2100MHz and 1800Mhz bands where users can fully enjoy the fast and reliable wireless broadband connection without buffering while they are watching high-definition (HD) videos, and interruption of video conference and online gaming.
With this kind of LTE service that only SMART offers it gives them the titled as the first multi-frequency service provider of mobile LTE in the country and one of the first in the world according to PLDT-Smart Technology Group Head Rolando G. Peña.
According to Peña Multi-band LTE means better coverage whether in densely or sparsely populated areas and a wider range of compatible devices. “Offering LTE in multiple frequencies will give us and our subscribers greater flexibility.” He said.
The SMART LTE is part of the growing portfolio of SMART including 3G, HSPA, and HSPA+ connections providing their subscribers the freedom to choose the service that caters to their needs. As of today since it was launched last August 25 at the Resorts World Manila, SMART LTE is available at PLAN 3, 500 with a cap of 10 GB and additional Php 450 for every 1GB on top of the cap.
But for the early buyers they can enjoy unlimited surfing beyond the cap until October 25, 2012.
