After her successful cross-stitch episode few months ago after her transfer to ABS-CBN, Iza Calzado returns to Maalaala Mo Kaya this Saturday to play the role of a doctor who experience major depression that affects her life and career. Joining Iza this MMK episode is veteran actor Bembol Roco and it was Mae Czarina Cruz.
Iza will be playing the role of Rosalyn, a successful doctor who was diagnosed to have a major depression and paranoia because of the trauma she encountered including with her philandering father, Gilbert (Bembol Roco). From major depression and paranoia, she was later it was discovered that she was ill with bipolar disorder after she was brought to a psychiatrist. After knowing of current state, Rosalyn continues to struggle and fight her life to make it normal but how will she do it?
Meanwhile, according to Iza Calzado she mentioned that the role she is playing in MMK was very close to her because she experience depression and bi-polar with her mother who suffered the same case before and according to her she empathized with the story.
Aside from Iza and Bembol, the MMK episode also features Louella De Cordova, Cheska Iñigo, Pia Romero, Phytos Kyriacou, Ismael Clavero, Edward Mendez, Kalila Aguilos, Lowell Conales, Kyline Alcantara, and Sofia Millares.
