Few months after signing a contract with Universal Records, Aristotle Pollisco or popularly known as Gloc-9 launched his first album under the label last August entitled MKNM: Mga Kwento Ng Makata. With a carrier single Sirena, he receives recognitions from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community on giving them the chance to air their views and emotions though a song which collaborated with Ebe Dancel a member of defunct Sugarfree band. ABS-CBN’s Boy Abunda acknowledges his contribution to the music and giving voice to the LGBT community where Abunda is part and advocating for their rights. Meanwhile, Vice Ganda personally thanked Gloc-9 when he performed Sirena in Vice’s Sunday variety talk show Gandang Gabi Vice in the Kapamilya Network.

Aside from being played in all major radio stations nationwide and became part of the MYX’s Daily Top 10, Hit Chart and Pinoy Countdown, the music video of Sirena posted on YouTube now reaches more than 2.5 Million views. Also included in his 15-track album are Balak ni Syke, Apatnapungbara (featuring Ian Tayao of Queso), Silup (featuring Denise Barbacena), Alalay Ng Hari (featuring Allan Mitchelle Silonga), Hindi Mo Nadinig (featuring Jay Durias), Sino (Interlude), Salarin (featuring Bamboo Mañalac),  Inday (featuring Cathy Go),  Bakit Hindi (featuring Billy Crawford), Malakas (Interlude), Pison (featuring Chito Miranda), Thankful (featuring Maychelle Baay of Moonstar88 and Bambu), Hari ng Tondo (featuring Denise Barbacena) and Kung Tama Siya (featuring Jaq Dionisio of Kissjane).

Gloc-9’s “MKNM: Mga Kwento Ng Makata” album tells different kind of stories aside from the LGBT community in Sirena, there’s also about police on Silup, maids and helpers on Inday, and songs about love, forgiveness, poverty and following your dreams. With this kind of songs that caters to most of generations especially the youth it gives a different kind of flavor to the term “rap” which is more social concerns just like Francis Magalona’s legacy where it became Gloc-9’s inspiration to his music.

He is also very vocal about having collaboration with different artists including Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, Liezel Garcia and many more. Gloc-9 writes his own songs particularly the lyrics which according to him he record it to his mobile phone. Aside from Sirena, Gloc-9 made the songs Lando, Upuan, Hari ng Tondo popular including the Bagsakan collaboration with Parokya ni Edgar and Francis M. Right now Gloc-9 was included in the Ambassador for Peace of Malacanang.
