Opening on October 2012 here in the Philippines, Columbia Pictures will be releasing a comedy film entitled Here Comes the Boom that stars Kevin James, Salma Hayek and our very own the international Pinay singing sensation Charice. The film was directed by directed by Frank Coraci.
The comedy film was set in a high school set up and following a biology teacher named Scott Voss (James) who was a former collegiate wrestler wanting to help their school who is cutting the budget in most of the extra curricular activities like the glee club, sports and others. And one of the most affected areas was the music program of the school where the teacher named Marty (Henry Winkler) will be possibly laid off. With the help of Scott who will be competing as a mixed martial arts fighter, he will be sacrificing his dignity as a teacher in order to raise money for the program. Charice is one of the students in the school who is part of the music program.
