Calling all amateurs and professional song writers particularly those who are inclined to love songs, submission of entries is now open for the Himig Handog P-Pop Love Song of ABS-CBN. Submission of entries will be from April 29 to June 30, 2012.
This song writing competition of ABS-CBN is open to all songwriters (amateur or professional) worldwide who are of Filipino citizenship or of Filipino descent. Participants can only submit original and unpublished entries to qualify for the competition. Entries can be either in Filipino or English or a combination that can be performed either individual, duet, or group of performers.
Criteria for judging for the Himig Handong P-Pop Love Songs includes:
Melody – 30%
Lyrics – 30%
Musicality – 15%
Over-All Impact – 15%
Text Votes – 10%
