Jim Levenstein (Jason Biggs), Chris “Oz” Ostreicher (Chris Klein), Kevin Myers (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Paul Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), and Steve Stifler (Seann William Scott) are back for the latest installment of the American Pie franchise entitled American Pie: Reunion. Directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, this fourth installment of American Pie franchise that stars Biggs, Klein, Myers, Finch and Scott is under Universal Pictures and locally distributed by Solar Entertainment and now showing in selected cinemas nationwide.
Being an American Pie movie franchised the film was rated R-18 by the MTRCB due to use of words and nudity among the characters of the show especially Jason Biggs who showed sensitive parts of his body in this movie that will really shock all the movie goers. But aside from that American Pie:Reunionstill has the humor that the followers of the first 3 movies and other four spin offs still have. The story of friendship and other things that goes with it is something that movie goers will look forward to in terms of how the directors and writers of the film execute it and maintain that certain flavor of that sexy comedy offers.
Having the title American Pie:Reunion, it will follow the lives of the main characters 13 years after graduation, where some of them finally settled down like Jim and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan), have work which opposite of what they dreamed before to be exciting and fun. The film reminds me of Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion that about the excitement and fear to see your high school friends and end up pretending to be someone who will amaze them. But of course this American Pie movie is wilder that the chic flick I mentioned earlier.
