As the premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man draws near, Columbia Pictures releases the third trailer of The Amazing Spider-Man on the web to add more excitement to the followers of the Spider-Man franchise that will be showing on July 4 in all theaters worldwide. It will be available in 3D and regular and now stars Andrew Garfield as the new Peter Parker/Spider-Man. The sci-fi action film was directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay written by James Vanderbilt, based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko.

This version of the Spider-Man franchise follows the journey of Peter Parker as an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Martin Sheen) and Aunt May (Sally Field). As a teenager, Parker will be facing the problem on how to deal school problems, first love and creating his own identity in the absence of his parents. He found inspiration from Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) his high school crush until it develops to love and commitment but things will change to his life when he discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), his father’s former partner.
His discovery will begin the transformation of his destiny as Spider-Man and making The Lizard, Connors’ alter-ego as his first opponent.
