In line with the premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man on July 3, 2012 in all cinemas nationwide, Columbia Pictures unveils its official theatrical posters and standees. The film that stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, with Martin Sheen and Sally Field will be available in 3D and regular format. It is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay written by James Vanderbilt, based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach are producing the film in association with Marvel Entertainment.
The Amazing Spider-Man is a new chapter of the Spider-Man legacy and now gives Garfield one of the most coveted roles which are Peter Parker and its superhero alter ego Spider-Man and also included in the reboot of the film series if Stone who will be playing the high school crush of Parker named Gwen Stacy. This time Spider-Man aims to understand and discover his parents’ disappearance which leads him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
The Amazing Spider-Man is the fourth Spider-Man franchise distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.
