It is less than two weeks before the most anticipated superhero film kicks off in all theaters worldwide! In order to have that adrenalin rush of the Marvel’s The Avengers fever is that to see film on IMAX 3D beginning April 25. The superhero film was based on the well-known Marvel comic book series, is written and directed by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson.
According to Greg Foster, Chairman and President of IMAX Filmed Entertainment seeing the superheroes of Marvel (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hawk Eye, Black Widow and the Incredible Hulk) together in the big screen plus the brilliant vision of Joss Whedon is sure to wow audiences who will be seeing it on IMAX 3D. Marvel’s The Avengers is the third Marvel Studios film presented in IMAX that was distributed by The Walt Disney Studios after Iron Man 2 in 2010 and Thor in 2011.
The epic superhero film will be digitally re-mastered into the image and sound quality of The IMAX 3D Experience with proprietary IMAX DMR (Digital Re-mastering) technology. The crystal-clear images coupled with IMAX’s customized theatre geometry and powerful digital audio create a unique environment that will make audiences feel as if they are in the movie. Which according to Foster, the Marvel’s The Avengers is the perfect movie that movie goers would love to see this summer.
Marvel’s The Avengers is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International through Columbia Pictures. It is also available in Digital 3D and regular format.
