After her transfer to ABS-CBN, the newest Kapamilya actress Iza Calzado will be doing her first Maalaala Mo Kaya with Zanjoe Marudo and Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio which will be airing on March 10. Iza will be playing the role of Liza, a woman who got into an unconventional affair with a man named Egay (Marudo) who was paired with her by a dying friend, who was incidentally Egay’s wife. Egay was reluctant at first but decided to respect his wife’s dying wish. Liza was also doubtful but accepted Egay because of her lingering fear of ending up as an old spinster. Will a dying wish leads to a love?
Joining Iza on her first MMK episode were Lassy, Minnie Aguilar, and Deborah Sun. This episode was written by Maan Dimaculangan-Fampulme and directed by Nuel Naval.
