For those living at the southern metro, you can drop by at the SM Southmall as they celebrate Chinese New Year with a wish lantern activity. Families and friends can drop by at 6pm (January 23) at the SM Southmall and fly your wish lanterns together with your prayers and hopes for good health, career and fortune for the Year of the Dragon.
Aside from this highlight, there will be Lion and Dragon Dance and spectacular Fireworks Display were added to the event to make it more festive.
The renewed SM Southmall will continue to satisfy South Metro folks and families with its refreshed interiors and new features such as IMAX, Cyberzone, improved Ice Skating Rink and newly opened tenants in Food Street namely Starbucks, Tous Les Jours, Racks and Almon Marina. The mall has also lined up a series of shows for the whole family: Mall Tour with David Archuleta, Eula Caballero and Jasmine Curtis Smith on Jan 28 at the Event Center at 1:00PM, Hitman Movie Tour with Cesar Montano and Sam Pinto on Feb 12 at the Event Center at 5:00PM, and Valentine’s Day Concert with Rex Smith on Feb 14 at the Concourse Area at 6:00PM.
