ABS-CBN officially announced the appointment of KC Concepcion to be the host of their newest singing –reality show that will be airing on 2012 entitled X-Factor Philippines. The reality show is a franchised of X-Factor that originates in the United Kingdom (UK) and under the concept Simon Cowell and his company SYCOtv. This is one of the newest projects of KC after she renewed her exclusive contract with ABS-CBN with her Viva Entertainment management few weeks ago.
Starting January 2012, KC will be visiting Cebu, Bacolod, Manila, Olongapo, and Batangas for the X-Factor Philippines auditions in search for the newest singing sensation that has that X-Factor that will wow the Filipinos and gain huge followers. For those who wanted to audition, requirements are: contestants must be at least 13 years old and above, Filipino citizen and can be a solo, duo, trio, or groups.
As of now there are no announcement yet who will be the judges and mentors of the X-Factor Philippines who will be joining the roster of the famous and hard hitting judges in the X-Factor franchise like Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Sharon Osbourne, Kelly Rowland, Gary Barlow, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid, and Nicole Scherzinger. X-Factor conquered more than 30 countries and produced more than 50 winners.
The X-Factor Philippines takes KC Concepcion to the higher level of her hosting career with the Kapamilya Network where she is one of the mainstays in ASAP and did a hosting role in The Buzz. She will be doing other acting roles in ABS-CBN like her forthcoming drama series with Gretchen Baretto entitled Alta.
