Being a big movie fan, I always make sure that I will never missed any good movies that is showing in all cinemas. Last September 15, during the commercial release of Zombadings I had the opportunity to see the movie through SMART Rewards’ Ticket Treats where loyal SMART subscribers can watch free movies and it comes with a pop corn and drinks to make it more fun and exciting watching the film. This reward promo of SMART is determined through points and the only way to gain points is by using their service by reloading, downloading and making calls for both prepaid and plan subscribers. To activate subscribers only need to text REWARDS to 9800 and that is the same keyword to get the list of the redeemable items that SMART will be giving to their patrons.
It is easy to redeem items from SMART Rewards. When I got my free movie passes to watch Zombadings, I just texted REWARDS FREEMOVIE to 9800 and in few minutes I got my bCode from SM Cinema directly to my mobile phone along with the amount of points it cost you and the date until it will expire. Of course, movie is not fun without snacks and drinks so with extra points I texted REWARDS DRINK to 9800 for a regular drink and REWARDS POPCORN to 9800 for regular butter flavor popcorn. Each item redeemed corresponds to bCode to be sent via sms/text where like the movie it must be scanned through SM Cinema bCode machine where it will release coupons where they will be use in exchange for the movie tickets and snacks.
During the time I scanned by bCode in SM North EDSA Cinema, I encountered problem with my phone so some of the bCode were not properly scanned. Good thing that after three trials, the bCode scanner prompted me to type the bCode at least 10 codes so that it will recognize my sms transaction with SMART Rewards and finally I got my coupon and exchanged it with my movie pass and snacks. This is a great treat from SMART by just using their services at the same time earn points so that we can redeem items from them just like free movie passes that we will really enjoy.
