McDonald’s opens four anniversary stores on its 30 Years!

As McDonald’s celebrates its 30 years in bringing happiness to all Filipinos, they open four anniversary stores in Metro Manila with unique theme that caters to all their loyal diners. The four anniversary stores McDonald’s include Makati Cinema Square, Greenhills, North Avenue, and Quezon Avenue. The four branches still have that dining atmosphere with more spacious and style to make it more appealing to their modern and youthful followers. It officially opens in September 30.

McDonald’s officially brought in the Philippines in 1981 by Geoger T. Yang as the franchiser of Mcdo in the country. The first store was in Morayta, Manila while outside Metro Manila the first set of stores include Dau (Luzon), Cebu (Visayas) and Cagayan de Oro (Mindanao). The Greenhills branch which is also one of the anniversary stores was the first McDo branch in the country that has drive thru. Now McDo already reaches more than 300 stores nationwide that has 24 hour dining and delivery service, online and mobile application delivery, and in-house coffee shop (McCafe).

The four anniversary stores continue the legacy of McDonald’s on coping with the changes, demands and lifestyle of their growing followers. Here are the changes that everyone will be expecting on the four branches.

Makati Cinema Square – Theme: Form

Formerly known as the Rock and Roll themed store of McDonalds, now it became more elegant and corporate look to cater the lifestyle of the working crowd of Makati. With subdued brown and earthly colors, this branch offers a relaxing and comfortable place for every yuppies and even students to have an enjoyable meal with their friends and co-workers. Prominent elements in the stores include the “nest” wall design, architectural red ribbon running across the ceiling that looks like a red carpet and wooden like ceiling that compliments with the energy saving lights to bring out that warm and comfy feeling inside the store.

Greenhills, San Juan – Theme: LIM (Less is More)

Designed by interior designer Fred Abansi, the Greenhills branch offers a playful and family oriented theme that has a wider space, comfy atmosphere and colorful designs. The store has a dedicated McCafe area for those who wanted to have a warm cup of coffee and pastries after a delicious meal in McDonald’s.

North Avenue, Quezon City – Theme Alegro Style

Playing with the style and urban theme, the North Avenue branch of McDonald’s offers a youthful to family feel who wanted to have a good meal after shopping from the near mall. It also caters to the yuppies and students from nearby establishments and schools to have a relaxing time and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere inside the store. It also offers a place for students and yuppies to have a comfy study or meeting time in the partition area that is well lighten and has elegant wall accents.

Quezon Avenue, Quezon City – Theme Alegro Style

The Quezon Avenue branch of McDonald’s offers a family oriented atmosphere with it caters to yuppies and families living near the store. It has a playground area for the children and it is more spacious to cater more guests inside. It is divided in different areas with different feel, from playful, subdued brown and the McCafe area.

Aside from the anniversary stores McDonald’s will be offering new products and promos that everyone will surely enjoy. Visit the near McDo branch near you and continue creating beautiful memories as we all say “McDonald’s Love Ko ‘To!”.
